What Can I Do?

Renee', Christel, and I have been getting questions daily from people asking what they can do. We decided the easiest way to help others would be to create a video answering this question. I'm watching this back and realize that we left a lot of points out. We'll do a follow-up soon. I will post our blogs on this video when I have time to edit but for now tune in and I hope we're at least a little informative.

    1. Wow, thank you for your wisdom and insights. I agree this is an uphill battle and definitely will consist of tough choices. As individuals we have to find this balance of surviving and functioning in society. Please keep in contact!

  3. Thank you for your time and great effort. I have been fighting Common Core in Arizona and am appalled at how little our elected leaders know. I, luckily, have a superintendent and schoolboard who made the effort to inform themselves, and came out against Common Core. Our superintendent went to the legislature and spoke out against it. He had great support. But it is a uphill battle. Our legislature still passed a bill to allow the PARCC Test -- even though they know very little about Common Core (which was not brought before the legislature). We have had local meetings, and email lobbying groups, and social media info flowing. But, it seems a daunting task. You gave me some fresh ideas. I will keep fighting. We are going to try to write a bill this summer to extract Common Core from our state -- but the AZ Department of Ed is going forward full steam, and will put this in place in the fall of this year.

  4. You're video has a great quality but it lacks of views. In order to promote your videos on a huge crowd it needs a lot of views. You needed the buy youtube views so that it will be in the headline on YouTube and you can promote it to all YouTube users.
